Overview:
We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join the LogRhythm Information Technology (IT) team at our corporate office in Boulder, Colorado. The primary function for this role is to provide IT support to internal IT projects and activities. Secondarily this role functions as Tier 4 network support for our internal staff members.
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, maintain and enhance network services in a divers environment
Create and maintain system documentation and incident reports
Provide firewall and networking (both wired and wireless) support to virtualization and SAN infrastructure
Assist with Exchange, Lync, and Citrix NetScaler, VM Ware, Backup software and other IT maintenance
Install, configure, maintain and enhance monitoring services
Act as Tier 4 network support for internal employees
Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate nights and weekends
Qualifications:
Required Skills
9+ years of IT operational experience providing expertise in designing, planning, installing, configuring, maintaining and enhancing Cisco networks and Microsoft systems and services
9+ years of experience assisting in the design, planning, installation, configuration, maintenance of virtualization systems and SANs
Excellent people skills, business acumen, time management and project management skills.
Must be capable of understanding business needs of the company
Focused individual capable of clearly defining project objectives, leading and completing projects on schedule while paying meticulous attention to details and risks
Experience designing and implementing high resilience, high security infrastructure and solutions.
Experience of Microsoft operating systems, Exchange, Active Directory, IIS, DNS, SQL Server, VMWare and SAN storage.
Extensive experience of working with vendors of IT systems, solutions and services.
Prepared to work flexibly to schedule upgrade projects outside critical business hours and ensure business continuity.
A third level engineering degree and professional certifications such as MSCE etc.
