Responsibilities
Responsible for design, development, deployment, and production support of a transactional middle tier, XML service layer, batch file import and extract, and browser based applications.
Work on a team of 6-8 interactive developers focusing on development in a multi-tiered environment.
Design and develop software to support real time transactions and transactions sourced from files.
Provide support for a custom data retrieval application, XML web service integration to a high volume web site, enterprise application GUI interface, and several file extract based integrations.
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
5+ years web development experience in VB.NET and/or C# required. Development experience in Visual Studio.NET 2003-2010 highly preferred.
3+ years web browser application development experience using ASP.NET required. Development experience in HTML, ASP, AJAX, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, client-side scripting and XPATH are strongly preferred.
3+ years experience with Web Services/SOAP required.
Good SQL skills and knowledge are needed (Oracle preferred).
Strong object oriented development skills and experience are required
Prior experience with enterprise class application development is a plus.
C/C++ development experience a plus
Strong problem solving skills and experience in a large development environment are required.
Marketing technology experience is a plus
Must have the ability/availability to work in a rotating, on-call environment.
Little to no travel is required for this position.
