Webroot is moving to Broomfield in January - this job will be based in
our brand new Corporate HQ in Broomfield
Network Engineer
Webroot is seeking a Network Engineer to support our IT organization and
assist with the installation, support and maintenance of our internal
data networks. This is a fast-paced, challenging role where you will
partner with other members of our IT team, including other Network
Engineers and Systems Administrators, to drive greater efficiencies
across our corporate WANs and LANs. The position will require some
on-call support, as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration of all internal network hardware and software including:
* Routers and Switches
* Firewalls
* Wireless
* VPN
* Phone system
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* 3 - 7 years experience in a professional, hands-on Networking
Engineering role
* MUST have 3+ years experience working with Juniper network
gear (Foundry experience a plus)
* MUST 3+ years experience working with Checkpoint firewalls
* Knowledge of VOIP, SIP and H323 protocols
* Ability to review and make recommendations on vendor contracts
and software
* Excellent customer service skills addressing the needs of both
the external and internal customer with strong communication and process
skills
* An active CCNA certification required
* Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent
experience
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Checkpoint NG(X) certification
* Avaya hardware and software experience
* Juniper SSL-VPN experience
* BGP, OSPF and MPLS configuration experience
