I-Behavior Inc., a leader in cooperative database solutions, has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Database Engineering in our Louisville, CO office. (www.i-behavior.com).

Position
I-Behavior is looking for a highly-motivated and seasoned Database Engineering Director to lead our database and software development teams. I-Behavior*s engineers are designing and implementing solutions on a variety of platforms, including Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, C#, .NET, Java, Unix, and Windows, in support of sophisticated data decision algorithms. I-Behavior is growing rapidly and is looking for the best and brightest staff to help propel that growth

As a Director of Database Engineering, you will utilize your management and technology skills to direct the rapid development of efficient database applications using multiple technologies. You will manage the entire software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, unit testing, and quality assurance procedures.

Specifically, your primary role will be to:
* Coordinate all engineering activities between the database and software development groups to meet Operational needs
* Refine development processes to shorten time-to-market with high quality solutions
* Drive effective architectural approaches
* Supervise development using established methodologies to meet specific business requirements and project deadlines
* Confirm that designs, processes, and code are documented clearly
* Ensure that unit tests and quality assurance procedures are effective
* Ensure data quality and integrity

Qualifications
* BA or BS in Computer Science or related degree
* 10+ years experience managing, architecture, and developing solutions using many of the following technologies in a mixed Windows and Unix environment:
Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, C#, .NET, Java, Microsoft CRM, Microsoft SSRS
* Experience managing and/or developing multi-terabyte solutions
* Experience with OLTP databases, OLAP data warehouses, and ETL solutions
* 10+ years RDBMS experience, including Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server
* Hands-on, motivated self-starter with ability to manage projects and tasks within an energetic, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and listening skills
* Innovative and creative, with the ability to champion new ideas and initiatives
* Flexible and resourceful

Desired Experience:
* Experience with heavy transactional systems
* Mobile device experience (iPhone, Android, others)
* Experience providing solutions in the Direct Marketing domain
