In order to meet our aggressive business objectives, we are currently seeking a Tier 3 Technical Operations Support Rep.


Primary Responsibilities:

Conversion of customers from one system to another
Exporting large amounts of data from mySQL or Postgres
Importing data from customers
Tracking which customers have sent us data and where they are in the process
Running a standard set of operations against the data received and verify that processes ran successfully
Double check that inbound quantities match what we ingested.
Some customer interaction to assure data gets to us in the correct format and for any subsequent questions and concerns.
Support problem reproduction, particularly in complex scenarios.
Conduct detailed log analysis.
Provide further detail on tickets reported by Tier 2 personnel, where necessary.
Troubleshoot elusive and/or unspecific problems identified by all tiers (above and below).
Enter confirmed defects into defect tracking system.
Follow up on and track defects.
Interact with customers, as needed, to conduct in-depth troubleshooting.
Establish and maintain environments in support of Operations testing and all support levels.
Interact with engineering, operations, and threat staff in troubleshooting, problem definition, etc.
First line of support for the Production Operations pager during the day.

Skills/Experience
1-3 years Linux/UNIX systems administration experience.
1-3 years customer service/support experience.
Solid knowledge of operating system internals, particularly RedHat Linux.
Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to understand complex dependency relationships.
Experience with common Linux/UNIX administration tools.
Working experience with at least one scripting language, Perl and Shell preferred.
Good understanding of SMTP and message header tracing
Good understanding of HTTP, web applications, and proxy technologies
Broad knowledge of common computer applications.
Strong communication skills.
