Application Developer - MOSS (Sharepoint) - full time employee, direct hire

Responsibilities



* Develop SharePoint applications, both list-driven and database-driven

* Provide administrative and maintenance support for existing applications

* Administer the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft SQL databases in support of the MOSS system

* Meet with internal users to determine current and future needs and requirements

* Document and monitor changes to the network and configuration of the MOSS (Sharepoint) system

* Setting up new users and administering security of the MOSS (Sharepoint) system

* Train users on MOSS (Sharepoint) applications

* Other duties as needed



Required Experience:



* Three years experience developing and maintaining MOSS (Sharepoint) applications

* Four years experience using MS SQL

* Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2008, XP, Vista and Office 2003/2007

* Three years experience with Visual Studio or SharePoint Designer

* Two years experience developing .NET applications

* Experience supporting users a plus

* Two years experience with C# applications and Silverlight

* Experience with MOSS Internet Connector from Microsoft a plus

* High school graduate with college courses desired. Bachelors degree in related field a plus

* Good listening skills required

* Excellent organization skills required

* Must be detail oriented

* Superior trouble shooting and problem solving skills required

* Able to maintain confidential information

* Able to travel, up to 10%

* Able to work occasional evenings and weekends
