Director, Inside Sales (Enterprise SaaS)
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Director of Inside Sales will play a
pivotal role in Webroot's overall go to market strategy for our
enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) business unit. This highly
visible and very strategic role is responsible for building and managing
an Inside Sales team responsible for driving revenue growth for all of
Webroot's SaaS security offerings, ensuring that business goals and
revenue targets are met or exceeded. The Director will manage the
overall day-to-day direction, mentoring and growth of the team,
delivering increased revenue, profitability and customer acquisition.
Responsibilities:
* Build an inside sales organization by recruiting high
performing inside sales talent and providing ongoing coaching and team
development.
* Motivate and drive sales performance, ensuring compliance with
sales methods and processes.
* Proactively communicate with management on sales inhibitors
working closely with field sales, finance, operations and product
management.
* Provide continuous improvement to sales processes and
activities while monitoring quality, consistency and effectiveness.
* Develop strategies to increase penetration into current
accounts while developing sales metrics and accountabilities.
* Establish and build strong customer relationships that
ensures customer retention
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10 years experience in sales environment, preferably in the
software industry with minimum of 5 years in a sales/account management
leadership role
* Proven track record of overachievement.
* Demonstrated success in account relationship management with
proven ability to retain and grow accounts
* Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high performing team
while working independently and taking initiative
* Security sales experience desired
* Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent experience may be
considered
