SUMMARY: Leads, directs, manages, plans, and administers the operational
and administrative activities of a department or product segment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for creating/implementing QA strategy
and product release management for multiple environments.
2. Responsible
for the formulation and implementation of goals and plans as related to
a specific function.
3. Reviews, evaluates, and prepares periodic
performance reports of staff.
4. Coaches, motivate, and professionally
develop staff by designing, implementing, scheduling and tracking
individualized training programs.
5. Interfaces and consults with other
managers within the organization to coordinate activities.
6. Promotes
teamwork and cooperation.
7. Participates in project review,
development, and implementation process.
8. Responsible for resource
planning, managing team workload, budget management including developing
and maintaining annual budget.
9. Reviews new and updated processes and
produces as required.
10. Provides management reporting.
11. Ensures
adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
12. Establishes and maintains client or vendor relationships as needed
13. Understands, plans for, and takes action on resource development initiatives.
Develops associates through coaching, objective setting, training, and
performance monitoring and management.
14. Monitors and understands associates' performance over time and appropriately addresses
performance plateaus or performance issues.
15. Provides cross-training opportunities and mentoring support to the team.
16. Conducts annual reviews and makes compensation decisions.
17. Performs effective resource allocation, often across competing priorities.
18. Responsible
to provide resource support for operational issues related to systems
support.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or commensurate
experience.

EXPERIENCE: 8+ years experience in software development industry with
strong expertise in at least one key competency. 5+ years experience as
a technical or development leader with a demonstrated ability of
successful team leadership.

LEAD TEST AUTOMATION/RELEASE ENGINEER

SUMMARY: Leads, directs, manages, plans, and administers the operational
and administrative activities of a department or product segment.

Test Automation Engineer is responsible for building, maintaining both
automation and manual framework and tests associated with web sites and
services. Being part of the quality assurance/release team the candidate
will also be available to prepare/implement product releases to multiple
environments. The candidate will work in a fast paced, agile environment
and be successful in meeting timelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop execute and maintain both automated and
manual test scenarios, test plans and scripts for web applications
2. Assist with establishing automation test strategies, planning and
procedures
3. Proactively come up with innovative methods to constantly
improve quality, test coverage, efficiency and regression coverage by
automation of feature testing
4. Execute automation scripts as required
for development, and debugging efforts to ensure system performance and
stability
5. Detect software quality issues, report and track them to
resolution
6. Assist in post-implementation, continuous improvement
efforts to enhance systems and applications
7. Identify product performance issues during new product development
8. Participate in the testing of Production Emergency Bug Fixes
9. Track and report test results for the product's compliance to the functional specifications
10. Perform on-demand testing as requested
11. Mentor and share knowledge with peers.
12. Work with developers to resolve defects and issues

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
1. At least 5 years development or quality assurance
experience
2. Experience automating test cases using tools such as MS
Lab Management, MS Visual Studio, Coded UI, Selenium or other Automated
Testing Tools is highly desired
3. Experience with TDD highly desirable
4. Experience with SaaS application testing
5. Experience with SOAPUI/SOAPSonar testing
6. Experience working in an AGILE/SCRUM development environment
7. Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server with emphasis on source control, builds and deployments
8. Experience working in an agile environment with stories, sprints
(working within a 2 week window to complete tasks)
9. Minimum of 3+ years of MS .Net experience writing high performance Web Services
scripts
10. Minimum of 3 years Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 or 4.0 using
C# or Java
11. Net developer or an experienced Automation Tester, who is
interested in automation testing with over 3 years of .Net development
experience

COMPETENCIES - SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
1. Excellent Interpersonal
and relationship skills necessary to work with an integrated team of
customers, developers, implementation specialists and quality engineers
2. Ability to work in a self-directed and independent fashion as well as
within a group setting
3. Knowledge TFS automation builds and releasing
product code to multiple environments
4. Must possess knowledge of SQL and have the ability to manipulate data and pull data queries.
5. Must have and possess some development skills in MS.Net / C# 6. Knowledge and
experience with the Microsoft .Net platform (IIS, .NET, Web Services,
SQL Server)
7. Must have basic understanding of application pools, web sites, web applications, windows and basic authentication
8. Must be able to pull queries using mySQL
9. Knowledge of Powershell a plus
