Job Summary
Develop web pages and templates to support various web initiatives including basic improvements, site enhancements, and new websites or web based applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, implement and support various front-end template designs using Drupal, Javascript, XSLT, and other templating languages
Develop new or enhance UI based components (Combo Boxes, Modal Windows, etc.)
Create standards compliant XHTML/CSS for websites and web-based applications
Collaborate with Project Managers, IT, and other business leaders on web projects
Perform maintenance and updates or websites and web-based applications
Rapidly prototype web pages based on wireframes
Qualifications
Must be self-motivation and accountable for all work
Problem solver in both feasibility and production
The ability to work with a small team on multiple concurring projects
Must be highly organized
Experience Requirements
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university plus 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hands-on experience with Javascript, DOM, and libraries such as jQuery required
Experience working with Drupal, PHP, and MySQL
Requires experience using XSLT to format XML files for web
Clean, comprehensive coding in XHTML for structure and CSS for presentation required
Must have expert knowledge of web standards and cross-browser compatibility
Requires experience with web page optimization techniques (both in file weight and perceived/actual rendering speed)
Experience with content management systems a must
