EchoStar - Oracle Developer

EchoStar is looking for an Oracle E-Business Suite R12/11i developer. This position requires an individual with a strong technical background of Oracle Applications modules including HRMS, Supply Chain and Financials. The role would include development, technical design, configurations and production support tasks as well as enhancements and upgrades to Oracle EBS system. The developer will be responsible for delivering projects within our key Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiatives and enhancements to our internal customers. The candidate will be part of a team of Oracle developers and interact daily with functional analysts to fulfill the development life cycle in Oracle EBS System.



Responsibilities:
The developer will ensure timely design and execution of  CEMLIs (Configuration, Extension, Modification, Localization, and Integration ) for HRMS, Accounting and SCM modules in Oracle EBS System.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment, and be able to work independently or as a member of a team, in a fast paced, dynamic environment supporting our business functions.
The successful candidate must have the ability to function in a very collaborative team environment of experienced Oracle E-Business Suite application professionals.
Develop new strategies, improving internal processes, and implementing “best practices” through use of technology and business processes. Supports the maintenance of the organization's accounting related Oracle ERP Systems through design, develop, code, test, and debug software applications and procedures.
Develop Technical Specifications. Develop and execute unit test plans. Expected to work closely with business partners, release management, Server Operations Center staff and other technical teams in order to produce well tested, successfully integrated and fully documented software solutions to business problems.  
Responsible for delivering enhancements in Accounting, HR and Supply chain modules in E-Business Suite 11.5.10 applications.
Work with Business Analysts and internal customers to understand business requirements.
Design, develop, test, and update custom reports and forms personalization.
Train end-users (beginning and advanced), and work with end-users to facilitate expansion of functionality of oracle applications and reporting.
Adhere to project schedules and report status to management.
Take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.



Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Information Systems, Business or MIS/CIS, Computer Science)
5-7 years of relevant experience in Oracle Applications development.
At least 5-7 years in Oracle E-Business Suite modules such as HCM, Financials/SCM and familiar with table structures and relationships
At least 2+ years of experience in Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) especially customizing self-service web applications using JDeveloper.



Preferred Qualifications:
This position requires an individual with a strong technical background supporting Oracle R12/11i modules including Financials, HRMS and SCM modules. The role would include production support tasks as well as planning and executing upgrades to existing 11.5.10 system.
Experience with SOA Suite is Plus.
Proficient with tools used to support Oracle Application development including, but not limited to JDeveloper with OA extension, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Forms 6i, Reports 6i, Workflow, OBIEE, Hyperion, Discoverer, Web Services, XML Publisher.
Strong documentation skills, communication skills, and customer focused approach.
Strong knowledge of Oracle table structures, API's, Schemas, Oracle open interfaces
Also the candidate must be familiar with workflow builder, AME and AOL data structures and entity relationships at the table level.
Experience in Creating procedures, API, Packages, Functions, Triggers and other Database objects using SQL and PL/SQL, UTL file, SQL * Loader, TOAD.   5+ year’s hands on experience with Oracle eBusiness 11i open Interfaces, customizations including Forms, Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, Workflow, and relational database modeling required.
Experience in Interfaces (Feeder, Open), registering Concurrent Programs, Form Functions, Tables, developing Descriptive Flex fields in Custom Applications and defining profile values by AOL, System Administration and AIM methodology in Oracle E- business suite Applications.
Strong Oracle Applications Technical Developer that has prior development experience with HRMS modules in E-Business Suite, (Self-Service, Core HR, Advanced Benefits, Compensation Workbench, iRecruitment, Talent Management, Oracle Learning Management, Time and Attendance)
Comfortable with Oracle development/coding standards.
Must have experience developing in a structured development environment using latest development frameworks and methodologies. Must be competent to work at highest technical level of all phases of application system analysis and programming activity.
Experience in data Migration, Mapping, and Validation, Exporting/Importing /Loading data
