Our group builds the web client for the Oracle Social Network. We also focus on how other groups can leverage OSN to easily add social features to the products they are working to deliver. We push the limits of the browser using tools like GWT and jQuery to deliver a quality product that people love to use.
Desired skills include:
- 4+ years experience developing client-side, browser-based applications
- 4+ years experience with the Java programming language
- 2+ years experience with the Google Web Toolkit
- AJAX/Comet
- JSON and XML
- Deep understanding of CSS/Javascript
- Agile development experience, particularly an understanding of iterative development, user stories, and test-driven development
- Knowledge of secure browser application development best practices
- Experience developing accessible browser applications a plus
