Java Software Engineer-Greenwood Village

Position Description:
This person must work well with others in a fast moving environment
sometimes requiring irregular hours, with occasional travel required.
Recondo is a highly energetic company that is aggressively attacking the
health care services marketplace and needs a person that thrives in this
type of environment. The work will encompass the entire software
development life cycle, including, but not limited to, requirements,
architecture (as required), design, coding, unit testing, documentation,
system testing, installation, and data center/customer support as
required.
Position Responsibilities:
* Mentor and help junior developers.
* Be responsible for taking leadership positions on technical
initiatives and ensuring deliverables and timelines are met.
* Develop quality production level application code based within
our agile development model and ensure that the deliverables align with
the product roadmap and vision.
* Ensure consistent quality in all software that is released.
* Demonstrable experience in developing distributed software
solutions to consistent quality standards.
* Consistent and thorough, someone who will "go the extra mile".
* Research, design and write new software programs.
* Integrate existing software applications.
* Research new technologies.
* Creating technical specifications and test plans.
* Work closely with other staff.
Qualifications:
* Application server programming
* 5+ years JAVA software development experience
* Significant experience with server side Development
* Significant experience with object oriented analysis and
programming skills
* Experience on Linux Platforms
* Experience with Open Source Toolkits
* Experience developing Rich Internet Applications is desirable
* Experienced with multi-threading
* Experienced with networking, IO
* Desire and ability to learn about the health care industry
Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science

Java, TSQL, Integration, Agile, Subversion, JUnit, Cruise Control,
Database, XML technology, ANT, Ruby, Rules, Performance Tuning, Data
