Provider of satellite entertainment programming to U.S households This position will be located at our Englewood, Colorado office.

As one of the primary producers of enterprise reporting for customer contact centers, the Reporting Developer Specialist takes a lead role developing data models to integrate data from multiple data source systems and provides accurate and timely information required to make both tactical and strategic business decisions on an ad-hoc and on-going basis. This position works independently under the general supervision of the Manager, Customer Care Business Intelligence, and duties include but are not limited to:

* Develops reporting models, architectures, frameworks and strategies based on business requirements.
* Develops technical solutions to support and streamline data reporting requests requiring integration of data from multiple systems.
* Analyzes and trouble-shoots technical issues related to reporting.
* Creates clear design concepts, and drafts technical design documents.
* Develops and maintains databases, tables, queries, stored procedures, views, and/or applications to support business initiatives or changes in the reporting model.
* Performs the full range of report analysis activities and uses judgment to select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
* Provides team mentoring and cross-training.
* Other duties as assigned



* Bachelor's degree preferred and/or a minimum of two (2) plus years demonstrated experience in business requirement gathering, project management and at least three (3) years experience in the Satellite/Cable industry.
* Must have in-depth knowledge of business systems and databases and how information will be used in order to run accurate reports.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Siebel.
* Must be able to perform under quality management measurements and be prompt in the handling of responsibilities and timely in meeting work deadlines.
* Must have experience working with internal business partners and possess excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and proven organizational, analytical, and planning abilities required.
* Must be detailed oriented and be able to meet deadlines.
* May require up to 5% travel and the ability to expense travel costs prior to reimbursement
