SaaS Operations Engineer
Position Description
This person must work well with others in a fast moving environment
sometimes requiring irregular hours. Recondo is a highly energetic
company that is aggressively attacking the healthcare services
marketplace and needs a person that thrives in this type of environment.
This position will require a good understanding of software operations
methodologies. The Operations engineer must be willing to work in an
agile environment and work in all aspects of Operations, including but
not limited to requirements, architecture, design, unit testing,
documentation, installation and data center / customer support as
required.
Position Responsibilities:
- Documentation and execution of operational processes
related to code promotion, infrastructure, application configuration and
monitoring
- Coordination of changes to test and stage production
environments
- Architect, install and maintain the production
environment
- Accept production code from QA and deploy it into the
production environment
- Document operations processes and write deployment plans
- Consistent and thorough, someone who will "go the extra
mile", takes pride in ensuring the best possible customer experience
- Work closely with other staff
Operations Engineer experience
- Experienced verifying the operation of servers and
portals
- Experienced in testing server applications
- Experience with operations and defect tracking tools
- Experienced on Windows and UNIX/Linux Platforms
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS
Preferred Skills:
Subversion, XML, Integration, Agile, Database, Rules, Data
transformation
Desire and ability to learn about the healthcare industry
