provide the necessary tools for NextAction clients to communicate with
existing and future customers.

Job Description:

The Production Operations Engineer is responsible for supporting Tier 1
escalations, escalation workflow management, communications routing and
Event Management functions within Production Operations. Their tasks
include generating tickets, coordinating inbound email responses,
monitoring corporate and production servers, moderating all Production
Operation Tier 1 escalations, acting as the first point-of-contact into
Production Operations for various external groups (e.g., Production,
Content Services Data Analysts, Marketing, Sales, etc.), and trouble
escalation to Tiers 2 and 3 as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

* A two or four year technical degree (Computer Networking
Systems, CIS, etc.), CCNA certification or the equivalent work
experience in a related technical field.

* Good written and verbal communication skills are required, as
you will be interacting with various users.

* Be able to demonstrate troubleshooting skills in an environment
of computers on the Microsoft Windows and UNIX/LINUX operating system
platforms.

* Some Structured Query Language (SQL) experience is desired.

* A demonstrated knowledge of computer hardware architecture -
including the internal bus system, memory, system interrupts, processor
and peripheral architectures; an understanding of file systems; and an
understanding of the TCP/IP protocol and Local Area Networks.

* An understanding of the Open System Interconnect (OSI) reference
model is also desired.


* The prospective employee must also be very comfortable using the
Microsoft Office platform including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
