InComm is the market leader in providing advanced pre-paid solutions
to national retailers. This includes gift cards, pre-paid wireless
cards, and financial service products, among many others. Since its
inception in 1992, InComm has demonstrated significant annual
growth, and currently counts most leading retailers and service
providers as clients.
As part of its continued growth, InComm launched a division in
Denver that develops technology to extend the scope of InComm's
product offering. This includes applications to automate the sale
of post-paid services (e.g., television, broadband, wireless), and
product extensions into rebate and bill payment applications.
Members of this team have deep experience in this space, and we are
looking to add to our growing team of software developers.
Required Experience
• BA/BS or higher, or equivalent experience
• 3 or more years of experience doing quality assurance
Tasks
• Review business requirements for thoroughness, testability,
and consistency
• Review design to assess the testability and scope of the
proposed solution
• Develop tests that assess the solution with an emphasis on
efficiency and replication
• Report findings clearly and help assess the impact and risks
of problems
• Update reviews, test plans, and reports as the projects
timelines and requirements change
Skills Used to Complete Tasks in Order of Importance
• Requirement-driven test case creation
• Professional written and verbal communication style
• Time management, including estimating time to task
completion and managing multiple priorities
• Web GUI testing
• Reading XML and SOAP messages
• Writing database queries, including reading and modifying
data
• Working with web services, especially WSDL
• Creating automated tests using simple XML-based scripting
language
• Understanding of http protocols, i.e. POST/GET, headers,
postbody
• Relating requirements and test results to the business
drivers of the project
• Isolating the source of problems down to configuration,
data, requirements, or code
• Understanding of SOA architecture
