The Human Resources Business Partner manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office for Denver, CO, Canonsburg, PA and Minot, ND. The HR Business Partner manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Business Partner carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.

*    Works with management providing direction and program development in response to management directives.
*    Mentor and consult to managers and supervisors on handling employee relations issues
*    Serves as primary point of contact on Employee Relations matters such as: investigations, discipline, performance management, employee development, succession planning, HR guidelines and policies, employee files, non-technical training, job descriptions, metrics and data reporting, etc.
*    Ensures proper processes, practices, and documents are completed on all employee actions (e.g., new hire, pay changes)
*    Maintains an understanding of all aspects of HR and Mustang HR practices, policies, legislation, and current events
*    Serves as liaison to other Human Resource specialist groups such as: Benefits, Retirement, Recruiting, Onboarding, Global Mobility and Immigration, International HR, and Training
*    Maintains an understanding and responds to clients on benefits questions, distributes corporate communications, and conduct annual presentations
*    Provides data reporting and analysis from Oracle and other HR systems
*    Conducts training and presentations on HR related matters
*    Responsible for transactional tasks such as: new hire processing and orientation, benefit plan explanation, terminations and exit interviews
*    Serve as primary backup for the Denver/Canonsburg/Mino recruiter
*    Serve as the Safety and Security Coordinator for the Denver office. Responsible for coordinating health, safety and environment actions to ensure training, procedures and policies are followed. Also coordinates with Building Lessor for implantation of City of Denver safety requirements
*    Strong knowledge of employee relations
*    Working knowledge of other HR areas such as: benefits, compensation, retirement, recruiting, etc.
*    Good client service and consulting skills
*    5 years of Human Resources experience
*    Bachelor's degree or equivalent direct experience
*    Professional Human Resources certification preferred
