Responsible for recommending, implementing, and managing the support of
business applications, databases, and infrastructure; establish and
develop department processes and procedures; establish, track, attain,
and report performance measures; provide leadership and direction in
project management including identifying task force members and assign
specific tasks and responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
* Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science or related area required.
Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for
educational requirements.
Experience
* Minimum five years experience in telecommunications, systems
administration or high-technology industry including two years
supervisory experience required.
Technical
* Minimum three years working with various operating systems (.e.g, nonstop, etc.) required
* Knowledge of UNIX platform and/or management of a Windows Enterprise environment preferred
* Basic understanding of network topology in TCP/IP preferred
Other
* Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint required
