Responsible for providing a quality, high performance database processing
environment by defining assigned database tables and coordinating physical
changes to computer databases in a timely manner while adhering to established
departmental standards and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
* Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer
science, information systems, electrical engineering, computer engineer or a
related field is required
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer
science, information systems, electrical engineering, computer engineer or a
related field is preferred
* Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for
educational requirements
Experience
* Minimum 1 year experience in computer science or MIS required, preferably
including database administration experience
Technical Knowledge
* Based on area of responsibility and departmental need knowledge of one
program platform (Tandem) is required
* Based on area of responsibility and departmental need knowledge of one or
more of the following may be preferred: Tandem SQL, SQL Server, Oracle database
systems
Other
* Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel required
