Summary

Market Force Information is an industry leader in Mystery Shopping
research services and customer experience measurement company, focusing
on multi-location businesses in restaurant, retail, grocery, oil/gas,
and financial industries.

Market Force Information is seeking a Part-Time or Full-Time Production
Support Specialist to be responsible for the maintenance, configuration,
and some new development of all applications and websites within the MFI
system for every environment within the MFI organization. This position
reports to MFI Application Support Manager.




Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


* Research problem tickets to resolve data, setup, and code issues
to provide responsive correction of issues.
* Assist in prioritization and resolution of enhancement and
defect issues.
* Monitor automated system alerts, log files, and other monitoring
tool output.
* Maintain and improve performance and reliability of existing
applications.
* Develop and maintain IT tools to automate code promotion
activities to the maximum extent possible.
* Perform periodic code releases and emergency code promotions.
* Design and develop emergency patches to address critical
production issues.
* Assist in providing support by participating in weekly on-call
rotation.
* Interact with internal business customers, operation personnel,
and development groups in troubleshooting and correction of issues.
* Work on projects to better improve Production Support model and
processes.
* Research and identify potential code defects.
* Manage development, quality assurance and production application
environments, working closely with operations personnel, to honor
application Service Level Agreements (SLA).
* Perform root cause analysis on issues that lead to
implementation of processes to prevent repetitive issues.
* Conduct analysis on issues that lead to implementation of
processes to prevent repetitive issues.
* Write code updates due to enhancements or defects found within
the MFI systems.
* Write code to update corporate website and CFA/Shopper portals.
* Maintain knowledge base documentation.

Required Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications:


* Knowledge of classic ASP, ASP.NET, C#, VB, VBScript
* Creating and maintaining SQL stored procedures
* Knowledge of Visual Studio 2003, 2005, VB6
* Knowledge of SVN or other source control application
* Knowledge of OnTime or other issue tracking application
* Knowledge of IIS
