Position Description: Firewall Administrator
Expert in firewall implementation, firewall management, and network
management with proven effectiveness in troubleshooting connectivity,
multiple routing protocols, and configuration issues with firewalls and
most network equipment. Proficient in the administration and
configuration of Checkpoint Firewalls including network address
translations and VPN management. This is NOT an entry level firewall
administration position.
--Minimum of 2 years experience specifically on installing and managing
Checkpoint firewalls
--Checkpoint Certification desired.
--Hands-on experience monitoring and managing IP Networks, Intrusion
Detection Sensors (host and network), Intrusion Prevention Systems and
Firewalls highly desired.
--Technical Certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNP, CCSP, or GIAC
strongly desired.
--Security or Networking-related Bachelor Degree desired.
--A VERY strong focus on teamwork and communication.
