GHX - Integration Manager

Integration Manager - MMIS and ERP


Will manage technical projects and relationships around the on-time implementation and deployment of GHX integration and connectivity solutions for Provider and Supplier customers. These solutions include, but are not limited to, Connect Plus, On Demand AP, Nuvia, and Catalyst.

Will be responsible for communicating technical details of GHX solutions and the scope of the project to all participants. Acts as a technical troubleshooting escalation point for internal and external customers, as needed.


Principal duties and responsibilities:

· Leads integration and implementation projects critical to the overall success of the GHX Service Delivery program.

· Interacts effectively with a wide range of individuals, to include senior management, and provides ongoing status communication of the efforts to key stakeholders.

· Develops solutions and adapts current technologies to integrate GHX products and services to provider and supplier systems to drive customer adoption, value, satisfaction, and retention.

· Effectively maintains and completes many concurrently assigned tasks, provides ongoing product support, and develops and communicates their understanding of the integration points and GHX specific setup of various Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.

· Assists with developing technical presentations and documentation, and conveys the technical capabilities of GHX’s products and services to technical and non-technical staff of GHX customers and GHX employees.

· Identifies technical solutions and business processes that enable the reusability of integration solutions to reduce integration timeframes and costs, both internal and external.

· Provides escalated technical support for Enterprise Sales Executives, Trading Partner Management, Customer and Application Support, and GHX customers.

· Creates reports and provides information regarding the status of client integrations on current projects.

· Assists Trading Partner Management, Customer and Application Support with repeat trading partner boarding.

· Identifies opportunities for third-party collaboration and product changes and enhancements.

· Disseminates technical and customer site information to all GHX departments to facilitate the understanding of deployed solutions and ongoing production support.

Required Skills:

· Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills,as well as a solid understanding of healthcare supply chain processes and infrastructure.

· Ability to multi-task and excel in multiple roles, as needed, i.e. IT project/Account Management, Sales Engineering, Escalated Technical Support, Programming and Development, Executive/Customer Presentations.

· Intermediate to Advanced programming/scripting experience (i.e. TCL, Java, C, C#, Visual Basic, Unix shell, DOS batch files).

· Effective interpersonal skills.

· Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal).

· Strong problem solving skills.

· Ability to adapt to changing environment.

· Ability to work with limited supervision.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience required.

· Knowledge of relevant data standards (i.e. EDI/XML/MMIS proprietary formats).

· Knowledge of server and desktop Operating Systems (DOS, Windows, UNIX).

· Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, security standards, and communication protocols.

· Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) software and Internet/Dial-up Connectivity tools (i.e. Cloverleaf, BizTalk, webMethods, iSoft, Cyclone, CLEO).

· Knowledge of specific Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (i.e. Pathways, Lawson, Meditech, PeopleSoft, etc.).

· Knowledge of EDI/XML data translation software (i.e. Gentran, OnCall, Quicklink, GEIS).

· Knowledge of relational database design and applications (i.e. SQL Server, Oracle).

· IT installation and implementation experience in a material/supply chain environment.

· Healthcare product and industry knowledge.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
