Job Summary
The Webmaster is responsible for the maintenance of multiple company websites and supporting various departments with web tools and updates. In addition, the Webmaster will be responsible for implementing a new corporate website using the Drupal content management system.
Responsibilities
Webmaster Duties
Be available to troubleshoot the company websites to ensure accuracy and functionality
Ensure PCI compliance in all server and hosting settings
Manage accounts with hosting companies
Ensure websites work on all browsers/operating systems
Review and improve site designs and page structure as needed to increase usability
Ensure that each site page is optimized to search rankings, including meta tags, links, original text content, etc.
Support corporate website for Human Resources, Purchasing, eCommerce, Nutrition Resouces and on-line marketing
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years professional experience as a webmaster with a working understanding of PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, MySQL, and other aspects involved in making functional websites.
Minimum of 2 years experience with theming, customizing and integrating Drupal, is required
Minimum of 2 years experience maintaining and customizing an Ecommerce platform such as OsCommerce, is required
Minimum of 2 years development experience with PHP and various integration methods, is required.
Experienced with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Acrobat and other Office products.
Strong attention to detail with content, grammar and SEO compliant HTML, as well as best practices in SEO.
Strong project management skills managing multiple projects; some project leadership is a plus
Able to communicate effectively with various departments and provide excellent customer service
Able to work effectively with daily, weekly and monthly timelines as well as with long range projects.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
