What You Offer:
Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical transaction
oriented
MS SQL Server databases. A team player who will help our developers to
successfully design, test and deploy database schema, and work together
with network engineers to successfully maintain and monitor the SQL
servers.
Required:
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of MS SQL server DBA experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid Transact-SQL skills
Scheduling and execution of SQL backups and restores
Maintaining and creating user accounts for proper access
SQL Agent job scheduling and monitoring;
Familiarity with SQL management tools (SQL Profiler, Enterprise
Manager,
Management Studio)
Nice to have:
Log shipping;
Replication;
Disaster recovery planning and execution;
SQL security and planning;
SQL/Server system tables;
Utilization and performance monitoring/reporting;
