The Senior System Engineer for CareAdvance Hosting will support the
CareAdvance application solution delivery. Responsibilities include:
- Work with Microsoft Windows 2003 to manage CAE application
servers, web servers, VMWare servers, and infrastructure servers
- Troubleshoot, install, and maintain CAE hosted operations related
systems and servers
- Monitor CAE system and application availability and performance
- Provide CAE systems support during hosted implementations, on
issues encountered by production hosting customers, to define/refine
product hosting for the CAE solution, and when defining test and
system monitoring
- Technical liaison with CAE Business Unit
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003 is required
- 7+ years experience as a senior Microsoft Systems Engineer, able
to diagnosis and resolve platform/network related issues
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft 2003 system/application
security
- Project experience enabling Microsoft technologies: Active
Directory, IIS, MSMQ, SQL Server
- Strong systems support skills
- Experience supporting Web-based applications
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred skills:
- Microsoft Windows 2003 Cluster Services
- MCSE Certification
- Experience with TriZetto's Facets software
- IBM WebSphere, VMWare administration and SQL Server in a clustered
environment

Responsibilities:
- Work with Windows operating systems, as well as other operating
systems as required
- Manage VMWare servers, application servers, and e-mail servers
internally for TriZetto and its clients
- Manages access to the network, including firewalls, security,
communication software and devices, and telecommunications
technologies
- Troubleshoot, install, and maintain operating system software and
related hardware devices
- Monitor system performance and make adjustments
- Configure and install servers and access rights for various domain
users.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software components in Windows
environment, TCP/IP, Voice/Data systems support
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of WAN,
LAN, Windows NT & 2000 Servers and VMWare administration
- Competent with Microsoft BackOffice products, Java and web-based
technologies, scripting and technical infrastructure: networking,
storage and servers in Windows environment, TCP/IP, Voice/Data
systems support
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide customer service and support in a
fast paced, multi-client environment
