Job description:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in CS or related discipline.
- MUST: 3-5 years hands-on Informatica development and integration experience.
- 4-6 year experience in Data Warehousing and Data Mart modeling.
- Strong ASCII SQL and Oracle Pl/SQL skills with reporting creativity and diverse solution mind.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of Oracle database administration and architecture.
- NT and Sun Solaris hands-on experience.
- Experience with at least one Business Intelligence Tool like Business Objects, version 6 or later.
- Experience in troubleshooting ORACLE system level issues such as: crashes due to device failures, corruption, lock handling, recovery, etc.
- Plus: Unix shell or perl scripting experience,
- Plus: Previous C/C++, object oriented, java/jsp knowledge.
- Oracle Application Server and Oracle Enterprise Manager.Design, develop, test and integrate organization-wide decision support system. Gather reporting and aggregation specifications, convert specifications into design, and code programs into deliverables on schedule. Perform quality assurance on all deliverables. Candidate must understand completely and applies principles, concepts, practices and standards, with a full and competent knowledge of industry and company practices.

- Develop and test Informatica mappings and PL/SQL code from specifications.
- Convert code from Data Integrator to Informatica and maintain existing mappings.
- Develop multi-dimension data mart model.
- Define data transformations and ETL definitions.
- Perform Informatica software and server administration when needed.
- Other activities include: Database Development, software installation, software customization, implementation of maintenance and upgrades, manage DSS releases on company-wide intranet, routine database migrations, database performance tuning, problem determination and resolution
