Graebel Companies is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator for our office located in Aurora, CO.



Title: Oracle Database Administrator

Location: Graebel Companies, Aurora Colorado

Pay Rate: Negotiable

Length: Full Time, Employee

Skills: Minimum of 3 yrs as an Oracle Database Administrator



Critical Requirement: The qualified person will have experienced skills in sql, pl/sql, performance tuning, backup and recovery, essential day to day database monitoring, OEM, UNIX functions that relate to Oracle databases e.g. vi, shell scripting etc.. Must possess a strong understanding of the database structure, theories, principles and practices, and must have experience in providing high levels of data availability and security. Must have experience engineering, maintaining, administering Oracle databases, providing on call support for critical database system failures, Oracle software patching and upgrading, troubleshooting database issues, good documentation of database processes and procedures, strong organization, planning, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills, client oriented focus….



Additional Requirements: Experience with Oracle e-business suite database administration, Application Server and Collaboration Suite is a plus. Certifications (either Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM)) are also a plus.



Education: Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Computer Science or MIS/CIS or equivalent relevant experience.



Duties include engineering, maintaining and administering Oracle databases, providing on-call support for critical database system failures, applying Oracle software patches and upgrades, troubleshooting database issues, good documentation of database processes, trouble ticket handling, database cloning/applications refreshes etc
