Firing For Poor Performance

Unsolicited email from remycorp.com. "Replaces an existing contractor who they are firing for poor performance."
That makes it sound like a friendly place - recruiters send unsolicited email BEFORE the DBA is "fired".

looking for 1-2 DBA’s. We are looking at 1-3 months with the possibility of going longer and perhaps going PERM.

Client Driver:
A huge new DataWarehouse initiative which includes tons of 10g databases to upgrade.

* Upgrades from 9.2 to 10g (10.2)
* Install Cluster Ware
* Install OLAP option
* They use Oracle OWB (oracle warehouse builder)
* Oracle RMAN
* Oracle 10g db on AIX, RAC, OLAP, data modeling, db development (PL/SQL)

Position 1: Replaces an existing contractor who they are firing for poor performance…Oracle DBA (mid/mid-sr level) to perform various DB tasks including installs, upgrades and the above mentioned tasks. Please looks for someone with latter 9i or solid 10g experience. This is a traditional DBA. Best Case scenario, they look like this…Oracle 10g db on AIX, RAC, OLAP, data modeling, db development (PL/SQL, etc)
