Can't really afford to test someone out, as it's a critical position

They want a DBA with specific skills, yet they don't have the resources to do due diligence on the candidates because, "... it's a critical position!".

kellie@remycorp.com is demonstrating an interesting recruiting tactic. If you can do 1099 and if you have articles published around the internet, or you have written some self-published books, then you may qualify for this position.
