Unsolicited email from remycorp.com. "Replaces an existing contractor who they are firing for poor performance."
That makes it sound like a friendly place - recruiters send unsolicited email BEFORE the DBA is "fired".

Can't really afford to test someone out, as it's a critical position

They want a DBA with specific skills, yet they don't have the resources to do due diligence on the candidates because, "... it's a critical position!".
