Troubleshoot and resolve issues in highly complex integrated billing systems. Automate existing processes to minimize staffing requirements and ensure reliable operation.

Position Description



Responsible for providing technical, functional, and coding support to customer product support teams, field engineers or technicians who are diagnosing, troubleshooting and debugging highly technical or sophisticated software or computer systems.

Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in software. The DBA would perform a primary support role for all database touches and would be fully responsible and accountable for the health of the Vyvx databases. He/she would have access to a secondary pool of DBAs that could be used to implement specific and well defined actions. He/she would manage all account access and would only grant the secondary DBA pool access to the databases as needed after the task assignments were clearly communicated and approved.

Minimum Applicant Requirements – Senior Sybase Database Administrator
• Needs at least 5 years hands on experience with real time Sybase transactional database management system using database replication to multiple destinations
• Must have experience with Sybase version 15+
• Ability to work under pressure
