*Position Overview*
Billtrust is seeking a smart, experienced individual to work as a Senior
Product Manager within our Open Scan Technologies division. You’ll work in
conjunction with internal and external business partners to help define and
document the product requirements needed to create world class
invoice-to-cash products. Once requirements are defined, you will continue
to assist designing the detailed functionality and working with the
technical leads charged with overseeing the development process through to
implementation. The Senior Product Manager will also be charged with
forming tight relationships with our existing and prospective clients.
As a Product Manager you’ll quickly become an expert with our existing
solutions and our target market. The product manager will use that
knowledge to facilitate the growth of our product suite. The job will be
very demanding, and will offer the winning candidate a unique fast track
career.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the product roadmap to dates, deliverables, and
inter-dependencies. Work closely with prospects, sales executives, sales
engineering, and product marketing to organize and prioritize product
requirements.
- Manage a close relationship between our clients and standard product
roadmap.
- Ability to document and present opportunity assessment/opportunity
loss associated to major product functionality requests.
- Provide designated clients with the appropriate guidance and direction
with regards to roadmap priority.
- Maintain and design the detailed functional specifications required to
deliver product requirements.
- Work with the technical leads and QA staff during product development.
- Triage issues as they are identified by QA, but before they are sent
to development.
- Manage change control as needed based on adjustments made during
product development.
- Work with product marketing and training to assist with marketing and
end user documentation.
- Work in partnership with Sales to ensure sales staff is educated on
the value statements of the product in training the implementation and
support teams and act as a product liaison between those teams and the
clients they support.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of success within a fast-paced product management
role, preferably in the financial, procurement or AP/AR space; SaaS a plus
- Ability to plan for the future stratey while maintaining the current
delivery
- Strong business analyst skills with the ability to turn requirements
into written specifications in an agile development environment
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of designing software
solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong team player able to
collaborate effectively across departments
- Ability to lead release activities from analysis through to
implementation
- Ability to work directly with clients in user forum, round table, or
customer outreach sessions
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
