Overview:
LogRhythm is looking to add a JavaScript UI Developer to our team to support ongoing development of our new web console. The web console -- consisting of an AngularJS web user interface (UI) powered by JavaScript (Node.js) and Java in the middle tier -- is a critical component of our product offering and a top initiative for the company. Your primary role would be to develop front-end client application code in JavaScript (AngularJS).

Responsibilities:
Develop front-end client application code in JavaScript (AngularJS), HTML, and CSS.
Software development in a collaborative, team-oriented, Agile environment.
Qualifications:
Three (3) or more years of professional experience writing JavaScript applications.
Demonstrable experience and fluency with AngularJS.
Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
Some demonstrable experience and enthusiasm for writing applications in Node.js.
Strongly preferred: Some experience in Java.
Exceptional knowledge of object-oriented design, including design patterns.
A demonstrable commitment to and experience with test-driven development.
A solid understanding of database design and some experience with alternative data stores (e.g. NoSQL).
Work well in a close-knit, ego-free team environment.
Outstanding attention to detail and software quality.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
B.S. degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Who You Are:
Broad and Flexible: You are experienced in developing web services and business logic in Java, and you have some experience and passion around writing middle-tier software in JavaScript (Node.js). You are also interested in sometimes visualizing that data in a web browser, to prove the solution works end-to-end.
JavaScript: You have solid professional experience writing JavaScript (3 or more years) applications and experience with both AngularJS and Node.js.
Mid to Front-End Oriented: You are enthusiastic about building next-generation web applications.
Test Driven: You are experienced with and committed to writing tested and testable code.
SQL and NoSQL: You understand relational database design and can write your own queries. You also have some experience with alternative data stores, such as Lucene, Elastic Search, Mongo, and Cassandra.
Multi-Platform: You are comfortable on Linux, OS X, and Windows.
Pioneer: You are interested in exploring the latest web technologies because that’s exactly what we’re doing here.
Technical Geek: You aspire to display your technical prowess in the form of creative, pragmatic solutions and learning as many applications, methodologies, and languages as possible.
Agile: You are familiar with and enjoy Agile/Scrum development processes.
