The Senior T-SQL Developer designs and modifies SQL code that supports LLN applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Address and repair production data issues with the goal of de-randomizing and rechanneling repeatable issues.
* Create and maintain a base-set of enterprise data models.
* Acts as a data subject matter expert for LLN IT.
* Create and maintain SQL Server stored procedures and corresponding objects used by applications.
* Develop, analyze and/or tune Transact-SQL objects to optimize server performance.
* Design, develop, maintain, and release enterprise-level data models.
* Participate in application design sessions as needed.
* Provide analysis and design guidance in database architecture.
* Provide customer facing data-related support as well as creating long-term solutions to recurring issues.
* Perform related duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS- Summarize the typical qualifications in terms of education, years of related experience and other additional technical/professional/trade competencies of this job.

Education:
Bachelor*s degree preferred. Equivalent education and work experience may be considered.

Experience:

* At least 5 years* experience in SQL Server SQL required
* At least 3 years* experience in Visual Basic 6.0 required
* At least 2 years* experience in .Net required
* At least 2 years* experience in all phases of System Development Lifecycle required
* At least 5 years* experience in Financial, Banking, or Accounting background preferred
* At least 2 years* experience in Enterprise Data Modeling preferred
* At least 2 years* experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse preferred


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* SQL Server 2005 and above
* Understands Software Architecture, Software Development Fundamentals and Best Practices.
* Experience with VB and migrating projects from VB to newer technologies a plus
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
* Familiar with Software Debugging protocols and practices.
* Ability to work with non-technical users to understand and troubleshoot issues.


WORKING CONDITIONS - Indicate traveling, mandatory weekend or shift work, or other applicable work conditions.

Work is performed in climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon office or meeting location.
