GHX - QA Engineer

Seeking a quality assurance engineer to assist in the testing of a back-end document routing application. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience supporting or testing custom Java applications running in a Unix environment against an Oracle database.  Experience with EDI a plus.

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for creating and executing both manual and automated test cases.  They will work as a member of a SCRUM team and be responsible for quickly coming up to speed with the current application functionality.  They will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues escalated by support.

Principle duties and responsibilities:

§ Rapidly learn the existing application functionality and design

§ Create and execute manual test cases

§ Create and execute automated test cases

§ Troubleshoot issues raised by support

§ Work collaboratively on a SCRUM team delivering new functionality in 2 week Sprints

Required Qualifications:

§ B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree, or a combination of education and related experience

§ 2+ years of professional support or qa experience

§ 1+ years of experience with the Unix Solaris file system

§ 1+ years of experience with SQL (Oracle preferred)

Preferred qualifications:

§ Experience with EDI

§ Experience working on a SCRUM delivery team
