Great-West Life Financial Services is currently hiring a Senior Business/Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Web Quality Assurance Team.
This role will perform quality assurance functions including testing computer applications developed across multiple languages to ensure software quality. Also performs business analysis functions by evaluating the requirements received from the business area, determining the impact to the system, and developing written business specifications to be used for the design and development process.
Responsibilities:
Performs quality assurance functions including:
- Produces test plans by reviewing business specifications and determining test cases in order to ensure thorough testing of applications/transactions.
- Sets up and maintains test data by utilizing technical tools (e.g. SQL, UNIX) in order to facilitate efficiency and accuracy of testing.
- Performs manual functional, integration and regression testing by executing web-based on-line and batch transactions.
- Runs and maintains automated regression testing suites
Performs business analysis functions including:
- Working with the business area to understand requirements for system change
- Assists in determining impact to system for change being requested.
- Develops written business specifications by drawing upon business knowledge and analyzing requirements in order to document system functionality for developer.
Primary Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years combined experience performing user acceptance testing, writing business requirements and administration, for defined contribution retirement savings plans
OR
- A minimum of 5 years software testing experience
- Strong background in testing web applications
- Strong Oracle and SQL skills
Additional experience desired:
- Project Management skills
- Understanding of Project Lifecycle
- Mercury Quality Center/Quick Test Pro

What You Offer
A bachelor's degree is preferred and a minimum 1 to 3 years in Software
Quality Assurance. The ability to manage multiple priorities and
projects simultaneously. Experience with testing web based
applications. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong
organizational, planning, and analytical skills. Familiar with
multiple web browsers and OS platforms. Relies on experience and
judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A
certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Recondo Technology is developing software to improve Revenue Cycle
Management for Health Care Providers. This software will be deployed as
an application service (SaaS) and to support business process services.
We have an immediate opening for a Database Architect and Developer to
work in our Centennial, Colorado office as part of an agile development
team. We are implementing a multi-tenant database using a generic
model.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the team developing The
Data Access Layer and the Business Objects supporting the entire suite
of applications. This position will require minimal travel. You will
receive training and mentoring in our core technology and understand how
we are applying a best of breed approach in developing our solution.
Recondo Technology is a growing, high performance, challenging and

Duties and Responsibilities may include:
- Database modeling; modify and create new database schemas.
- Design complex queries and stored procedures, triggers, views,
database engine specific packages.
- Development and support of Data Access and Business Objects.
- Performance monitoring and database tuning.
- Analyze business processes and derive/develop and document
system/database requirements.
- Actively participate in System Testing to validate requirements,
particularly the data-related requirements.
- Develop and prepare stored procedures, reports, and user defined
functions.
- Conduct data integration, including imports and exports.
- Engage in support activities for existing solutions.
- Provide support for user testing activities.
- Solve problems and overcome obstacles in order to succeed on assigned
projects and tasks and support team members in a collaborative
environment.
- Attend meetings for the purpose of requirements gathering, conducting
in depth analysis of those requirements, defining the project scope,
designing the system, and writing the programs.
- Creation and editing of useful and meaningful documentation.
- Managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Recommend Database design on assigned projects & tasks.
- Train, support and mentor Operations Support database staff members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a demonstrated success in defining, building and
operating complex data environments using varying database technologies
and engines. It also requires current programming experience in Java and
XML technologies. We would prefer a bachelor's degree in Computer
Science or Computer Engineering or clearly demonstrated equivalent
experience and working knowledge of:
- PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
- Outstanding data modeling skills
- Knowledge of data access related security issues and best practices
- SQL
- Collaboration in an agile environment
- Web Services
- Integration and data management
- Well versed in data to object bindings
- Versioning
- Replication, load balancing, and high availability
- Definition and enforcement of information management policies and
procedures
- Process and data modeling tools
- Documentation and developer support
- Ability to work in a team environment, under pressure, managing
multiple priorities, and complete projects on time within a fast paced
environment
- Willingness to work at multiple levels
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly
language
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
