We are seeking the right individual(s) to join our development team to re-design, build, and bring to market the next generation of our core back-end and client-facing applications. This is an exciting project in a great company that will provide rewarding challenges and plenty of opportunity.
Web Developer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Designs/codes applications following specifications using the appropriate tools
•Maintains and modifies existing applications independently
•Assumes responsibility for ongoing data architecture for product
•Designs and develops programming systems making specific determinations about system performance
•Analyzes, designs, coordinates and supervises the development of software systems to form a basis for the solution of information processing problems
•Responsible for development of new programs, analyzes current programs and processes, and making recommendations which yield a more cost effective product
•Documents code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions, and any changes made in database tables on procedural, modular and database level
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Currently the primary skill set we are looking for is ASP.net web development; somebody that has considerable experience with web architecture, UI design, and development and significant level of web security knowledge and experience.
Experience using:
•asp.net or PHP
•java script
•J query
•CSS
•HTML 5
•Custom CMS
•Platform Specific and Cross-Platform compatibility development
•Web Security
•Experience with Web Design and SEO a plus
•Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Information Sciences, Technology, Computer Science
•Examples of web development (portfolio) a plus
This is a full time, permanent, on site position. No telecommuting. RSI offers a casual and creative atmosphere with a unique small company culture.
