Seeking an Oracle DBA with Siebel Development experience for Nexstar Financial Corporation's software development company, eoTek, which is located in Evergreen, Colorado. Nexstar Financial Corporation, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a Bank of America company and a leading business process outsourcer in the home finance market. Using it's unique and highly scalable technology platform, Nexstar originates and processes home financing (mortgage) loans. To support this business, Nexstar Financial/Bank of America is seeking a Oracle Development DBA in the Evergreen, CO division.

Role summary or Scope:

Seeking a highly motivated individual to be a member of the Siebel development team in support of database design, development and customization of software functionality. Candidate will work with the mortgage implementation of the Siebel application interfacing with a highly customized web based enterprise. Candidate will be responsible for developing implementation strategies and customizations to the Siebel database platform, design and tuning of SQL and PL/SQL approaches, understanding and promoting the Siebel data model and it's role in the Bank of America business functionality. Candidate should have current understanding of software development methodologies; multi-tierd architecture, online transaction processing process and be able to propose technical approaches and offer recommendations and/or alternatives to meet the business needs of application functionality.

This position will require interfacing with internal/external clients, Siebel application development team, production support personnel, senior management, data integration developers and database developers.

Technical:

- Proven SQL and PL/SQL programming skills
- Ability to provide technical leadership and direction in SQL development and reviewing others code
- Proven experience working with software engineering disciplines and ability to embrace and value this process for the goal of best practices of software engineering
- Oracle 9i/10G experience in a cost-based environment
- SQL Loader and EIM technologies
- Knowledge of the Siebel application, Siebel integrations and customizations
- Expert on SQL/application query tuning
- Distributed database design/tuning
- Proven database development tool experience using TOAD
- Experience using the tool Starteam for software configuration and change management
- Solaris/Unix skills
- Shell scripting
