Job Summary
This position involves designing and developing database objects (e.g. tables, views, functions) to support front end OLTP and reporting applications. The ideal developer will have thorough knowledge of SQL (T-SQL, PL/pgSQL), experience with at least one other SQL language (e.g. PL/Perl), and extensive experience with complex functions, code optimization, and index tuning in SQL. The Release Engineer will work closely with product management and engineering teams. Must possess a positive attitude, a great work ethic and willingness to see projects through to completion.

Experience requirements (years): Minimum of 5 years
Skills required: Team Foundation Server, Cruise Control, MS Build, and deploying internet/web applications to Windows Server based environments.

* Extensive knowledge of Oracle client/server applications development tools, report writers and database. Extensive knowledge of computer operating systems including Windows, VMS, UNIX, and/or Windows NT.
* Extensive knowledge of structured system analysis and design methodologies.
* Extensive knowledge of PC equipment, printers, modems, network and related computer equipment and personal computer software.
* Extensive knowledge of computer network protocols such as TCP/IP, SQL*net, Decnet, LAT, and related protocols.
