Webroot is currently seeking a Contract Sr. Oracle Business Systems
Analyst to provide IT/Functional analysis in support of the company's
enterprise applications. A key to this role's success will depend upon
the candidate's ability to maintain strong working relationship with our
internal business partners, specifically accounting & finance, and
others as necessary. Additionally, this individual will partner with
internal users to provide support and recommendations through
requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, and implementation
plans in order to meet corporate goals and objectives.
This position requires an analytical mindset, accuracy, attention to
detail and creative problem solving abilities. You will assist in
coordinating and assembling cross functional teams, creating project
plans, managing scope and resource planning, leveraging proven standards
within a project management framework to execute daily work activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Become cross-functional subject matter expert for enterprise
applications.
* Field incoming problem tickets from end users to resolve
Oracle-related enterprise application issues.
* Review, analyze and recommend process efficiencies.
* Gather and document business and functional requirements.
* Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user
reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation
support.
* Partner with business leaders in the organization to meet
corporate objectives.
* Execute special projects as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* In-depth knowledge of Oracle (EBS) especially Oracle 11i/R12 and
how various modules integrate together
* Hands-on experience and Functional expertise with Oracle 11i
(R12 preferred)
* Strong knowledge of Oracle's core financial modules: GL, AP, AR,
FA, PO, OM, INV, Cash Mgmt
* Ideal candidate will have experience with: BOM, Advanced
Pricing, Service Contracts, and CRM
* Experience writing business requirements, functional specs,
technical requirements, and test plans.
* Ability to run and analyze basic SQL scripts, XML Publisher
* Ability to retrieve and analyze information from various Oracle
tables and modules
* Extensive experience with financial applications and transaction
flow
* Experience with reporting tools, ideally Discoverer
* General Accounting knowledge and understanding of business and
accounting processes
* Experience working with functional business owners.
* Ability to manage multiple projects
* Bachelor's or graduate degree in a related field preferred.
* Strong written and oral communication skills
