Zoll - Product Manager

Responsibilities:

Direct Responsibilities:
Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Develop short-, mid-, and long-range strategies for ZOLL’s Fleet Safety and Management portfolio
Manage the product and release backlog, develop and prioritize user stories, support team activities in an Agile Scrum framework
Work with product engineering to make strategic design decisions and to ensure that overall functionality of the finished product delivers value and exceptional user experience
Meet regularly with customers and focus groups to evaluate the product’s value to customer organizations and ultimate impact
Provide leadership that facilitates successful product positioning, promotion and market adoption to achieve P&L objectives
Conduct market research to aide in the understanding of the marketplace to include market size, market requirements, competitive threats, and future opportunities
Conduct make/buy/partner analysis, where applicable
Deliver products that anticipate the needs of the marketplace
Collaborate to deliver compelling positioning, sales tools, and marketing materials
Work closely with US and international sales teams to ensure commercial success

Indirect Responsibilities:
Work with the various groups within ZOLL to establish programs that will integrate ZOLL resources and third parties to perform the following activities in both domestic and international operations:
Support business partners and programs for certification to install, support, and service the Road Safety Products
Understand and support RMA procedures and protocols
Establish partner relationships with 3rd party partner vendors
Assist in the determination and of warranty parameters and options
Work with Regulatory Affairs and engineering to ensure that all necessary certifications are obtained and maintained

Qualifications:

Required Skills:
5+ years of relevant product management experience in high tech industry with a track record of successful product delivery and achievement of P&L goals
Proven ability to collaborate within a matrix organization and with executive level management on company product vision, strategy and roadmap
Demonstrated experience managing products in accordance with compliance and regulatory requirements
An entrepreneurial drive to do what’s necessary to drive results
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
Ability to travel up to 30%

Desired Skills:
Excellent technical acumen and analytical skills, with deep understanding of SaaS and Agile Scrum
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to evangelize ZOLL’s products internally and externally
Highly conversant in the business processes of the post-sale product lifecycle to include servicing, returns, and warranty issues
Highly conversant in best practices for outstanding user experiences in technology solutions
Experience dealing with distributors, channel partners, and 3rd party service organizations
Strong organizational skills
International experience
