This person can be located in either our Westminster, CO or High Point, NC office. Under limited direction this person will manage and maintain the information databases used to operate the LGS infrastructure and technology platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Partner with technical groups to ensure that database performance is not hindered and performance standards adhere to service level agreements set with the enterprise
May design and develop an enterprise-level data warehouse system encompassing both legacy and new data sources
Apply advanced data modeling and physical database design concepts in the architecture of a relational data warehouse.  Perform process analysis, dimensional data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) coding in various tools and help integrate data into the warehouse
Partner with development teams to design data management and governance protocols, manage the information lifecycle and design infrastructure and data integration controls
Understand business strategy and cascade business intelligence needs to the database level
Design, configure, implement, and administer all databases for LGS
Develop and maintain complex models and logical database designs
Identify and resolve all issues related to database systems to ensure that systems are online and without unplanned service interruption
Build and manage the database disaster recovery and backup plan
Develop new and enhance existing standards, processes and procedures, and guidelines for database environments using industry experiences, best practices research and business needs
Analyze and report the performance of database operations against the key database performance metrics
Communicate with systems users from key business groups, including Finance, Sales, Business Development, Human Resources and Marketing to gather project requirements and business insight
Meet projects milestones and deliverables in a timely and accurate manner
Design and develop advanced ETL jobs and routines to process data from multiple sources into a centralized warehouse
Perform database optimization activities to maximize database query performance and system stability
Travel to other LGS Locations or Customer Sites as necessary
Understand and adhere to all LGS Ethical and Compliance policies
Proactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to LGS EH&S policies and procedures
Perform other duties as required

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline and 4-6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience
Certification in ITIL Foundations v3 preferred
Knowledgeable in and ability to adhere to ITIL processes
DBA experience, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server
Experiencing in designing and implementing database structures
Experience with automating DBA tasks
Experience with data modeling and schema design
Proficient with relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server.  Additional expertise with Oracle Enterprise Database is a plus
In-depth knowledge of SQL
Proven ability to interpret business requirements
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required
Enjoy working in a team environment
Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Pentaho or Talend
Experience with Business Intelligence/Analytics solutions such as Tableau, Qlikview or OBIEE
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (US citizenship is a prerequisite)
