Equifax Property Data and Analytics is looking for a Java Developer to join a small self-governing agile team and own Production Support in Denver, CO. The Java Developer will run manual processes, identify repetitive processes and work with the Director of Infrastructure to create user stories and prioritize the automation backlog. As automation stories are scheduled in sprints the Java Developer will, in cooperation with other team members, design and implement the stories using the full stack of technologies from Web UI to back end data store. The Java Developer will also apply an understanding of key business drivers and demonstrate an understanding of the impact of Equifax's services/products on the success of customers.
Java Developer Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead activities related to the development lifecycle, deployment, and operations support
- Responsible for designing, developing and implementing short- and long-term solutions through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, and application infrastructure
- Analyze requirements and maintain, test, and integrate application component for new product, platform, data, or customer projects
- Modify or adapt existing designs, as well as review IT requirements and business processes
- Code, test, debug, and implement software solutions
Requirements for the Java Developer:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Hands-on Application/Software development experience using Java technologies
- Advanced SQL knowledge
- Unix shell Scripting
Preferred Qualifications for the Java Developer:
