Use your operational analytical skills to design/develop, program, maintain and publish reports. Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers. You must be self-directed and creative as you will deal with some very interesting and complex issues. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines.
This person will help operations identify opportunities for decreasing operational processing costs and/or increasing medical cost savings. Perform complex data analysis to identify patterns, correlations among business data elements, trends and anomalies in order to generate insights into historical and future operational performance. Using advanced Excel and statistical skills, build flexible models to forecast savings, analyze and optimize operational performances. Deliver persuasive messages based on sound, thorough, fact-based analysis and logic to compel Senior Leadership teams to act as needed. Foster trusted relationships with Senior Leadership to proactively identify constituent needs and develop business intelligence and analytical solution portfolios. Perform complex business analysis using a combination of known and unknown data elements in order to create business cases for new initiatives and enhancements.

Qualifications:
-Ability to analyze large data sets and determine variable correlations, perform statistical analysis, perform data manipulations to deliver key insights.
-Minimum of 5 years experience with analyzing large data sets using statistical tools.
-Ability to create process mapping and perform process analysis to generate operational measurements including cycle time, bottlenecks, efficiency, yield, Turn Around Times.
-Strong critical reasoning ability.
-Experience with data analysis and statistical tools such as:
---SPSS
---Excel Advanced Analysis toolpack
---Linear Regression
---Optimization
---Pivot tables/graphs
---MiniTab
---SAS
-5+ years SQL query writing using MS SQL Server or Oracle.
-Experience with relational databases and database structures.
-Ability to influence senior leadership, management and line staff with proposals generated from data analysis.
-Deep knowledge of business ecosystem, processes and trends.
-Independent worker, ability to drive initiatives to completion working in a highly matrix environment.
-Extremely detail oriented.
-High deduction skills - uses fundamental analysis and reasonable judgments to deduce answers, possibilities - does not rely on having all details available in order to make a decision, create a proposal/recommendation.
-Business case development experience.
-Experience in performing cost-benefit, root cause, correlation and forecasting analysis in an Operations environment.
-Experience leading teams of 5+ people preferred.
-MBA a plus.
-Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
