Senior Software Developer
Position Overview:
Mortgage Cadence is looking for a senior software engineer for
development of features and maintenance of an enterprise mortgage
lending platform and internal support tools.
Ideal candidates will have 6+ years of enterprise development experience
of which 3 must be in Microsoft .NET environments, experience with
MSSQL/relational database design and use, OO design and modeling
knowledge, and experience working in a team environment. A Bachelor of
Science in Computer Science or a related field is required. Ideal
candidates will be self-motivated to keep abreast of current
technologies, comfortable with designing and implementing flexible and
scalable solutions based on high-level business requirements within
aggressive timelines, and capable of working closely with both
development staff and other functional teams to overcome obstacles with
minimal managerial intervention.
This position is based out of our downtown Denver office. It does not
require travel. Salary range commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop bug fixes for live branches of all Mortgage Cadence software
products including Orchestrator (enterprise lending), Harmony (thin web
client), Finale (document preparation), and Opus (imaging).
Develop features and enhancements across all Mortgage Cadence software
products
Design, develop, and implement solutions using our internal SDK to
address business requirements
Design, develop, and implement proper database structure to support
development features
Extend internal SDK when new functional areas need exposure
Work with support desk to provide tier 2 support assistance as needed
Work with quality assurance to ensure system coverage with test scripts
and procedures

Visual Studio 2008
T-SQL (MSSQL 2005/2008)
Standard design patterns
UML
Source control (preferably SVN)
Preferred Skills:
Visual Basic 6/COM
Silverlight/WPF UI design
WinDBG/Crash dump analysis
Experience with code and database profiling
Experience with n-tier or distributed software
Experience working in an Agile methodology
