Responsibilities
* Design and develop mobile and web based system solutions using
industry standard processes and methodologies.
* Work with architects to create system designs and establish
programming and code management processes and standards.
* Develop new web/wap and backend infrastructure solutions based on
customer requirements. Help detail function and non detail
requirements.
* Analyze and enhance existing systems to better meet customer
requirements and improve current system infrastructure.
Position Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in object oriented software development.
* Can develop software proficiently in C#, C/C++, Java and/or other
languages.
* Web and/or WAP development experience. (HTTP, Webs services, etc)
* Exposure to Object Oriented design and development including model
abstraction and the usage of design patterns.
* Knowledge of database design and development concepts
* Experienced in code versioning and management. (e.g. release
management and binary compatibility)
* Knowledge of UML for use-case modeling, sequence diagramming,
entity relationship and object modeling.
Desired Skills
* Familiarity with HTML, CSS, java script, etc.
* SMS and WAP development experience
* Familiarity with fundamental wireless technologies
* Bachelors/Masters/Technical Degree (CS, EE, EECS or Equivalent).
* Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP.

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for establishing new system infrastructures as well as
enhancing current system functionality and fixing application defects.
They must also work with the Architecture team to determine infrastructure
and project level architectural direction. This position also entails
providing guidance and mentoring to Level I & II developers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Assign developmental tasks and perform mentoring and
guidance on development practices and policies.
* Assign developmental tasks and perform mentoring and
guidance on development practices and policies. Also provide guidance on
how to manage project level responsibilities.
* Tasking team members and performing mentoring and
guidance to employees.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Design and development of new solutions.
* Defect resolution.
* Code documentation and management.
* Responsible for interacting with more senior people on
the team and or group (depending on the scope of their current role) to
understand more advanced concepts.
* Dev III can act as a subject matter expect across
multiple domains and will be proficient and introduce new concepts to team
members as well as other developers residing on other teams.
* Project Management and additional internal
stakeholders/customers (similar to Dev I&II). A Dev III may also have to deal with
outside customers and/or stakeholders requiring a certain amount of
professionalism as well as an adept technical understanding of
technologies and practices.
* May deal with customer identifiable information (in the
form of contact information), points of sale via partners, and partner
contact information, however, the dissemination of this knowledge is
strictly forbidden by the company employment policy. The job holder is
also responsible for safeguarding the company's proprietary technology.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a technical track or a similar
training in professional training (Preferred computer science, engineering,
applied mathematics, MIS)
At least 7 years of professional experience dealing with multiple
object oriented language, platforms, paradigms, and technologies
Complex and unique business requirements for requested products require
our candidates to be solid and "on their toes" thinkers (going back to
flexibility)
A Dev III will additionally be proficient in understanding the
congruency in products and establishing standards and best practices in shared
logic development
Will be able to apply this understanding in the development of
extendable platforms and frameworks to facility the business development needs
of the organization
