Job Title: Compensation Accountant / Senior Compensation Accountant
Location: Corporate Headquarters (Englewood, CO)
Responsibilities:
* Stock option and restricted stock unit grant administration including grant load reconciliation, participant data validations and monthly FAS 123R expense allocation.
* Posting various payroll expenses including reconciling file totals to payroll records, uploading the journal entry, and producing management reports.
* Collaborate with our stock plan administrator, benefits team and payroll department to research and resolve various issues.
* Other projects as assigned by management.
Minimum qualification to be considered are:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
* 4+ years of accounting experience is required; prior payroll, payroll tax, or stock option experience strongly preferred.
* Strong knowledge of debits and credits is essential.
* Prior background working with Oracle Financials and payroll systems such as Ceridian, ADP, Pro-Business are a plus.
* Strong computer skills required, and must have strong Excel skills combined with knowledge of Access.
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment, to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Strong oral and written communications skills.
