The Gates Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tomkins PLC and the leading worldwide manufacturer of industrial and automotive powertrain and fluid power systems, has an immediate opportunity for a full-time IT Business Process Consultant. This position will help drive the Distribution function by integrating various business software solutions to ensure they comply with corporate direction. This position provides business application experience for the Product Lifecycle Management business processes through multiple technology solutions.
Responsibilities include:
* Configures applications to meet business process requirements
* Develops and maintains an Application Roadmap based on business strategy
* Develops, maintains and executes application governance processes and standards
* Develops technical requirements, designs, and implementations plans
* Develops testing scripts for the associated business processes
* Participates in the implementation of new system components
* Acts as a liaison between business customers and technology delivery organizations to ensure all requests are properly defined and estimated
* Partner with vendors/consultants to establish, create and execute deliverables
* Provides functional support to the delivery organizations after following the defined support escalation plan

Education/Experience:
* BS/BA or equivalent (8 years of experience) with 8 years specific experience.
* 1-5 years working with Parametric Technology Products (PTC) Windchill PDMLink 7.0 version or greater including Workflow and Lifecycle Administration in general and the ECR/ECN process specifically.
o Additional knowledge or experience with PTC Windchill products is desired example: PartsLink, ProjectLink, Enterprise Software Integration (ESI/Tibco ) to Oracle, and Dynamic Design Link (DDL)
o Manufacturing/Technical knowledge or experience is a plus
