Job description:eToys Direct is looking for a dynamic Senior Software and Web Developer. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, will be a team player and will possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be excited by the variety of work that will be required and will be able to successfully juggle multiple tasks at the same time.
Responsibilities Include:
Web site development, to improve or add new functionality, which will require your scripting skills.
Database, design and development using your PL/SQL skills.
Continued development on our partnership framework, utilizing your XML skills.
Deploying your code in a Linux environment.
Skills & Experience Required:
Must have good systems analysis and design skills for both application and database development.
7+ years development experience
3+ years C, C++ helpful
3+ years PL/SQL
2+ years using a scripting language
2+ years using Linux or Unix
Additional Skills & Experience
TCL, Perl, Python
Korn, Bash, scripting knowledge
Multi threaded application development.
Knowledge of XML and web services.
Experience with Jboss, Oracle AppsServer, Apache
Knowledge of encryption and security concepts
Experience with automated unit testing.
