The Application Support Representative is primarily responsible for fielding client issues and inquiries and appropriately triages application issues for online web applications.
Responsibilities:
•Providing hotfixes, minor enhancements and small projects in development. It also includes triaging. Small projects include - Application Validation fixes, programmed error work-arounds, Automated application verification programs, programmed post processor module for ETL, etc.
•Monitor business and product support requests via phone and email.
•Interact with both internal and customer contacts in a direct and professional manner to manage and resolve critical applications issues.
•Manage application support issues that arise for customers.
•Communicate and coordinate as necessary with diverse personnel (developers, project managers, business analysts, etc.) to manage the progression of issue resolution.
•Troubleshoot application problems
Required Skills:
•Must have a minimum of 3 years of software/application support experience.
•Must have experience with SQL – Ability to run queries, do data reporting, work with relational joins. SQL Admin interest - a plus.
•Must have 3-4 years of .NET programming experience to troubleshoot application problems, create application support tools for the applications and for small projects and hotfixes
•Must have previous interaction with all levels of clients (executives, project sponsors, project managers, developers and subject-matter experts).
•Technical problem solving experience required.
•Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Must be intrinsically motivated and detail oriented.
•Must possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse, dynamic and fast-paced environment.
•Must have desire and ability to learn quickly.
•Must be willing to work some nights and weekend on-call support one or two weeks per month.

In the short term this person will be responsible for assisting customers with product migrations by providing web service integration support and providing direct customer-facing .NET support if needed by the Migration team. In the long term this person will transition to a more formal coding role to support development projects and will still remain the Migration subject matter expert, if needed for occasional support after migrations are complete.
Required Skills:
•Previous experience in customer facing roles
•Experience with Web Service Integrations (SOAP, WSDL, etc.)
•Willingness to transition into a full-time .NET development role
•Background in the Microsoft Stack (.NET, SQL, iis, asp, etc)
